Summer is Here!

 Summer has finally arrived in Charleston, school are out and we are ready to begin our summer fun at Miss    Aimee’s Child Care. I am sure we all remember our summer times. Running wild out until the fireflies come out and the sun has begin to set.  While these neighborhood games aren’t something that happens much these day, we do our best to recognize that kids need to be kids. Childhood is short and should be enjoyed.  What better place to spend it in the sun at the beach? Jealous… you can always come with us.

This beach time is a time for learning though. Children learn how to work with each other, look out for their friends and water safety. Many times we come across beach animals. Children learn respect for the environment and appreciation for these small lives.

The Charleston, SC area has so much to offer children and families. Summer is a time to slow down and enjoy what the Low Country has to offer. Sullivan’s Island is a unique  paradise offering more then summer fun and environmental learning. It also offers family entertainment and community events. We do our best to take advantage of these events and welcome family participate. Always know that your child is safe in our hands because while you maybe at work or even if you are having some grown up time,  we are having fun just being kids this summer.
